Kid of Africa

06 Nov Kid of Africa

Asalaamu Alaikum / Hej / Hello

My name is Kauthar and I reside in the most southern part of Africa, Cape Town. I am a practicing Events Coordinator / Cat Lady, who’s passion is to be outdoors, growing food, learning and experiencing life. Unfortunately, my passions cannot be my day job, I REALLY WISH IT WERE THOUGH!

I would dub myself an observer practicing conciousness. My love for landscapes began when I was a kid, hence why I will always refer to myself as the ’kid of Africa’. I have spent a lot of time road tripping with my parents when I was younger to various locations within Africa. They love to travel, and It is unfortunate I never got to capture those moments, but they will live inside of me forever. Road tripping often with my parents has taught me all that I know today, Alhamdulillah. I am truly grateful to my parents for opening up my eyes to what is out there.

I then started venturing out to forests in and around Cape Town, I loved it so much I ended up going frequently and unconsciously became an accidental ’Adventure Blogger’ as I then started to wander all over Cape Town and decided to share those moments on Instagram. (So much for practicing conciousness)

Today, I am on a mission of my own to showcase the beauty that is Africa. My home. I am a bit older now and I do not road trip with my parents as often as I did, so it is time for me to make my own memories, Inshaa Allah.

I will be sharing everything I love about the creation but also how it inspires me to love the Creator. This life and all it is, is just a journey back home, back to Allah and it is up to us to decide how we spend our time in between.

Here’s to hoping the sights I share will inspire you, but most importantly allow you to feel encouraged and supported in your decision to finding Allah within yourself.

We are One.

Peace & love,

Kauthar
